Clean-Cooling Systems, CCS, is a small business based in Switzerland, made up largely of engineers and scientists. The company's marketing focus is mainly directed at a number of varied and yet specific groups such as Venture Capitalists, Industrial Refrigeration Executives, Engineers, Scientists and Political funding groups. The Target Market is predominantly male and aged between 40–70 years, located around the world. The financial and scientific information along with the diagrams and charts can be detailed and complex and therefore any communication has to make the dense and in-depth information memorable and as easy to read as possible. 


The Modern visual elements, combined with movement and the use of white space, are designed to break up the dense information in an attractive, fresh, clean and effortless way, so that the detail can easily be navigated and quickly absorbed. The main purpose of CCS communications is to initially interest and motivate the potential investor into asking for more information. Clean Cooling Systems is a company with an environmental vision, leading their field in technology and specialist knowledge.. They own many award-winning scientific and engineering patents, reflecting their solid track record in this field.

The tone of the Imagery used in Clean-Systems Branding, should be Inspirational and dramatic, bright and vivid and cool and clean.  T he imagery should be modern and single minded and draw on a wide and vibrant range of blues which can edge into bright greens and purples. Other contrasting bright colours such as red, orange and yellow can be used in a secondary way for purposes of drama and emphasis.. The Aurora Borealis is the most beautiful naturally occurring visual expression of the Earth's magnetic fields interacting with the most vulnerable and thinnest part of Earth's atmosphere. The poles are also where the Earth is at its coldest and least polluted. The use of the Aurora Borealis in CCS Branding, brightening the skies above the Arctic, is very significant as it mimics one of CCS' core product properties, the Magneto Caloric Cooling Technology, which uses magnetic fields as a means of cooling matter. The Magneto Caloric Cooling Process is a forward thinking cutting- edge technology which is clean, energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The first practical application of this technology is Commercial Refrigeration, upon which CCS is built.

Clean-Cooling Systems have always used Powerpoint Presentations as their main means of communicating their Business Plan and their Marketing messages. For a company just starting out and looking for funding, Powerpoint is a very quick, economical and accessible means of delivering information in a business-like way. The Presentations are very easy to adjust, when it comes to content and size so it is a relatively simple process to adapt and meet the requirements of a potential new investor or audience. The other positive aspect of using Powerpoint Presentations is that not only do most people within the business world have some knowledge as to how to use the software, but most businesses now also have up-to-date access to the same software.  There have been a large number of different versions of CCS Powerpoint Documents produced, most varying in size, marketing message and target market. All CCS Presentations have shared a couple of problems in common however, the most immediate one being that they tend to be very large in file size, long in length, dense and visually dry. In fact, very difficult to read and the message and energy are lost. It was therefore necessary to create a visual identity within Powerpoint and a library of resources and templates which the newer Presentations could be based upon and copied.
